Southeast Regional Marketing Director

The Southeast Regional Marketing Director is responsible for developing strategies and executing tactics that establish, promote and maintain the Howard Hanna brand in support of increasing revenue, generating new business, recruiting and retention of agents. The Southeast region is defined by Howard Hanna sales offices and departments located throughout Virginia and North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

As head of the marketing department, the marketing director oversees all communications, public relations and promotional activities selected to support the brand and marketing strategy. This includes design, production and distribution of print materials such as brochures, ads and direct response plus radio and television spots needed for broadcast campaigns. In line with the need to keep the brand in front of the target audience, the marketing director manages press relations, speaking engagements, special events and community outreach activities.

Other Duties:

• Supervises a staff of professionals and serves as an internal consultant to agents, managers, and staff within the region.

  • Acts as a creative director, working with a team of graphic designers and a marketing coordinator in maintaining brand integrity through visually compelling campaigns.
  • Works closely with the Southeast President the EVP of Marketing and other Regional Marketing Directors and leadership throughout Howard Hanna to support both the regional and company-wide marketing efforts.
  • Responsible for staying informed about marketing trends and monitoring industry in order to maintain competitiveness.
  • Works closely with media vendors and sales reps in order to secure strategic advertising plans, negotiating media contracts, and media buys for product and brand placement.
  • Responsible for presenting and implementing marketing efforts within regional offices and departments.

 

Qualifications:

Seeking candidate with strong leadership, marketing and graphic design skills. A minimum of five years-experience in marketing and graphic design required. Real estate background a plus.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline oriented, work environment.
  • Well organized with strong customer-service, writing and presentation skills.
  • An ability to lead the marketing team, and work with both internal and external clients, and vendors.
  • Able to create strategic marketing plans and budgets.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Video editing skills a plus.
