Policy Coordinator

Job Summary: 

Work in a collaborative team environment while providing inside sales support for a high volume insurance sales team.  Supports a superior and seamless customer experience for current and potential clients by preparing and processing applications and insurance documents. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients, mortgage companies, and real estate agents regarding insurance for new home purchases
  • Work closely with insurance agents to gather accurate details to prepare paperwork for clients purchasing insurance
  • Communicate and coordinate with insurance carriers, clients and insurance agents as required by carrier underwriting, state insurance requirements and agency guidelines
  • Prepare evidence of insurance and invoices for real estate closing
  • Review and update the agency management system through and after the sales process
  • Verify correct closing dates for home policies
  • Apply premium payment and issue policies
  • Fulfill Customer Service Representative duties as required

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess excellent computer and phone skills
  • High school diploma is required at a minimum
  • Active PA Property and Casualty license is preferred
  • Must have ability to follow directions, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and manage a high volume of work
  • Ability to meet and follow deadlines is imperative in this role
