Application Support Analyst

SUMMARY OF JOB:  The Application Support Analyst reports to the Manager of Application Support and will be responsible the second-level support for business systems used by the Mortgage, Title and Insurance divisions within Hanna Financial.  The position will collaborate closely with the Application Support Team Lead to maintain systems used by the business units and will assist end-users with daily support and use of systems. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Support and maintain line-of-business systems used by Hanna Financial including Loan Origination System (LOS) and other critical application systems
  • Coordinate software releases and patches for business systems including testing and distribution of software updates, release notes and training materials and rollout communications to business and other IT teams
  • Collaborate with third-party resources, vendors and other IT teams in support of projects and operations around business systems
  • Responsible for resolution of all second level support issues

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, a related field or 3-5 years of related work experience; mortgage banking or real estate experience preferred
  • 3 or more years of second-level software support experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with non-technical business leaders and teams when necessary
  • Comfortable under high-stress and exhibits poise and focus
  • Effective prioritization and project management skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
