Director of Training
Location: Buffalo, NY

Job Summary: The Director of Training is responsible for managing the learning and professional development of the organization’s workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • identifies training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with managers and human resources
  • designs and develops training programs based on organization’s and individual’s needs
  • considers and develops budgets for training
  • consults with team members to produce programs
  • develops effective programs for new and existing employees
  • devises individual learning plans
  • produces training materials for in-house courses
  • manages the delivery of training and development of programs
  • monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
  • ensures that licensing requirements are met
  • assists managers with specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;
  • keeps up to date with developments in training through relevant journals and courses and meetings
  • understands e-learning techniques
  • communicates effectively in a professional manner

Skills:

  • Competent in MS Office
  • Able to use data for reporting
  • Articulate
  • Excellent research skills

Education:

  • BS or MS in Education or related field
  • Experience in Real Estate, license preferred

*This position is a full-time position paying between $45,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience, education, and office location.
