Settlement Officer – Barristers of Ohio
Location: Cleveland Home Office

 

Ideal candidate will satisfactorily close transactions for agents, buyers and sellers in accordance with instructions contained in the Purchase Agreement and instructions provided by the lender, if applicable.


Duties / Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and review “Estimate” HUD 1 statement
• Discuss (via phone) loan conditions, disbursement information, etc. with buyers, sellers, agents , lenders, etc.
• Follow up with investor for additional loan requirements if any.
• Confirm that all loan conditions have been satisfied and secure lender’s approval to transfer title, as applicable
• Contact agents, buyers, sellers, etc. to confirm title transfer.
• Prepare final HUD 1 statement and issue all disbursement checks.
• Verify all funds have been secured and transaction is in BALANCE prior to releasing final statements and checks.
• Oversee activities of Settlement Coordinator and assist if necessary.
• Authorize disbursements for “hold” funds (i.e. final water, taxes, repairs, etc)
• Follow up on “hold signature” items, as requested
• Assist department in maintaining a “current” work flow status.

Settlement Coordinator – Barristers of Ohio
Location: Cleveland Home Office

 

Ideal candidate will assist Settlement Office in the satisfactory closing of real estate transactions for agents, buyers and sellers in accordance with instructions contained in the Purchase Agreement and instructions provided by the lender, if applicable.


Duties / Responsibilities Include:

• Review and revise information in al new transaction files as needed.
• Notify loan signers of anticipated closing date and other important information.
• Review title commitment and supporting documents.
• Prepare / send deed package to attorney for review.
• Contact appropriate parties to verify loan information, commission, survey, point of sale, pay-off, etc as applicable
• Contact new lender for requirements. Provide CPL, commitment and any additional requirements
• Obtain pay-off information for items addressed in title commitment.
• Retrieve buyers closing documents and instructions as needed.
• Complete conveyance forms, filing checklists, postage paid return envelopes.
• Advise agents of scheduled signing appointments for buyers/sellers.
• Prepare filings for Settlement Officer to review and issue checks.
• Completely disburse transaction in accordance with instructions provided by Settlement Officer, lender, etc.
• Assist department in maintaining a “current” work flow status.

Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Sales Office Manager, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative, secretarial and advertising support to the branch office and sales agents.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Processes and maintains accurate records of all real estate transactions, as required by the state and according to Howard Hanna Real   Estate Services policies. Accurately reports information to the Office Manager, as well as the Accounting Department.
• Collects, types and processes advertisements for newspapers and television (Showcase of Homes) in conjunction with the
  Marketing department.
• Orders installation and removal of signs, as well as maintains office sign inventory.
• Accurately maintains the Lock Box inventory and logs.
• Performs general secretarial duties (typing, filing, etc.) for the office manager and sales agents.
• Processes checks for funds involved in real estate transactions.
• Processes documents for new agents, including dues, board fees and applications.
• Updates real estate transactional data into computer system.
• Answers telephone and greets visitors.
• Requests service when machines need to be repaired; orders office supplies as needed; maintains office in a neat, orderly
  and attractive manner.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY: Within the scope of the approved departmental policies and procedures, the Relocation Coordinator coordinates, and manages the relocation referral process. This position reports to the Relocation Operations Manager.

Manage a staff of employees and Sales Associates who receive, counsel and place REO referral business for Howard Hanna Company and Nationwide housing markets.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree and minimum of 5 years prior Real Estate with experience in a management role inclusive of REO property

Accountability:

• Provides continuing advice and support to both client and employee, maintaining regular contact throughout the relocation process.

• Updates Relocation Horizons, Inc. client database and provides the required data for the production of status reports.

• Initiates our "Quality Relocation Service" Surveys.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred

• Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) preferred

• At least 2 years’ demonstrated experience in full service corporate relocation and/or real estate (relocation division favored).
